Neutral Protease NP – 06 can be used in the tanning industry, especially suitable for hair removal, and can also be used in the process of removing silk glue (sericin).
General description:
Neutral Protease NP-06 is produced from non-genetically modified Bacillus subtilis strain through fermentation, extraction and purification techniques. NP-06 catalyzes protein hydrolysis in neutral medium and produces peptides and a small amount of amino acids.
Neutral Protease NP – 06 can be used in the tanning industry, especially suitable for hair removal, and can also be used in the process of removing silk glue (sericin).
Product characteristics:
Enzyme component: Protease
System name: EC 3.4.24.28

Effect of pH on NP-06:
NP-06 is stable in the pH range of 6.5 ~ 7.5
The optimum pH of NP-06 is from 6.8 to 8.0.
NP-06 will be rapidly inactivated at pH below 5.0 or above 9.0.
Effect of temperature on NP-06:
NP-06 is stable at temperatures below 37°C with a pH range of 7.0 to 8.0. It is unstable at temperatures above 45°C and is rapidly inactivated at temperatures above 60°C. For maximum activity of NP-06, the optimum temperature is around 50°C with a pH of approximately 7.2.
Pack:
NP-06 is packed in carton box or 25kg kraft paper bag
Preserve
NP-06 is manufactured for optimum stability
The typical shelf life is 6 months if the product is stored below 25°C in a sealed container, away from direct sunlight. The shelf life will be up to 18 months if stored properly at 0 to 10°C. Long-term storage and/or under adverse conditions such as high temperatures may result in higher dosage requirements, so these disadvantages should be taken into account.
