HT-800 is derived from the Bacillus licheniformis strain used for fermentation and purification techniques. HT-800 is an end-amylase that can rapidly reduce the viscosity of starch gelatinization products, by randomly hydrolyzing starch, glycogen and degradation products contained in alpha-D -1,4 glucosidic to produce soluble dextrins and oligosaccharides.
HT-800 is a very strong Alpha-Amylase thanks to its high thermal stability, so it is widely used to produce malt sugar.
Product characteristics:
Enzyme component: Alpha-Amylase
Systematic name: 1,4-α-D-glucan glucanohydrolase
Potency: ≥80,000 U/ml
Appearance: liquid, clear to dark brown.
pH: 5,0~7,0
Density: 1.15 to 1.25 g/ml
Effect of pH on HT-800
HT-800 operates with a pH range of 5.0 ~ 7.0, depending on different applications.
The optimal pH of HT-800 is 5.4 ~ 6.0.
Accurate pH optimization depends on actual production conditions, including temperature, substrate concentration, and time.
Effect of temperature on HT-800
The optimal temperature of HT-800 is above 90° C. It liquefies starch rapidly at 95- 97° C and maintains high activity at 100° C. For sequential liquefaction, HT-800 exhibits exceptional thermal stability in the temperature range of 105 – 110°C.
Packaging, storage and notes when using
Packaging: 25kg, 30kg HDPE plastic barrels.
Storage: The product should be stored at temperatures below 25°C, away from direct sunlight. At this temperature the product has a shelf life of 6 months. If stored properly at temperatures from 0 - 10°C, the product has a shelf life of 18 months.
Note: Enzymes contain enzyme dust. In case of contact with skin or eyes, rinse promptly with water for at least 15 minutes. For detailed handling information, please refer to the Safety Data Sheet.
Usage content: from 0.1 - 0.35kg/ton of dry starch.
However, the exact dosage of HT-800 depends on the actual situation such as: starch substrate, liquefaction equipment, processing conditions, etc. To optimize the dosage, it is necessary to conduct several liquefaction tests to find the optimal dosage suitable for each product. plants.
