GLUZYME PG is a mixture of glucoamylase and pullulanase enzymes with a wide range of pH and temperature activity, produced from a selected microbial strain of Aspergillus Niger through submerged fermentation and purification.
Glucoamylase can rapidly hydrolyze the α-1,4 glycosidic bonds of liquefied starch to produce glucose and slowly hydrolyze the α-1,6 glycosidic bonds. While pullulanase can rapidly hydrolyze the α-1,6 glycosidic bonds in liquefied starch, cut off all the branched structures and form linear dextrin. Starch is converted into glucose through the effective combination of glucoamylase and pullulanase.
GLUZYME PG is Kosher, Halal certified, non-synthetically produced and highly biodegradable.

Conditions for using the product as recommended by the manufacturer:
- Substrate concentration: 28~36% DS
- Initial DE value of the line: 12 ~ 16
- pH saccharification: 4.0~4.5
- Saccharification temperature: 59 ~ 62oC
- Saccharification time: 30~50 hours
- Additional enzyme amount 0.35 ~ 0.50 kg/tds
GLUZYME PG Dosage:
- Depending on the actual production conditions and glucose production efficiency. In most cases, the usual dosage is 0.30-0.50 kg/tds (tds: per ton of dry material), and a dosage of 0.45 kg/tds will achieve very ideal results. In addition, increasing the enzyme dosage can effectively shorten the saccharification process time.
- GLUZYME PG adapts to high dry substrate concentration due to its better glucoamylase and pullulanase activity. Even for DS concentration as high as 32-34%, it can still make DX value higher than 96% within 32 hours.
- The actual dosage needs to be optimized depending on factors such as starch type, starch quality, %DS (dry solids), pH, temperature and time.
Product Features:
- In the pH range of 4.0 ~ 4.5, the product has the best enzyme activity.
- The enzyme activity of the product is best at 59~62oC
Pack: IBC 30 Kg (25L) or 1125 Kg (1000L)
Storage and shelf life: GLUZYME PG should be stored in a cool, dry place. Storage in unopened containers, at or below 4°C, helps maintain maximum activity over long periods of time.
