Alkaline protease DJP-100 is produced from Bacillus licheniformis strain through submerged fermentation, extraction and purification. DJP-100 can catalyze protein hydrolysis under alkaline conditions. The product is suitable for food and beer industries, and can also be applied to leather tanning, silk glue removal and detergent production.

Effect of pH: DJP-100 operates in the pH range of 6.0 to 12.0 with the optimum pH range being 10.0 to 11.0.
Effect of temperature: The operating temperature range of the DJP-100 is 30 to 60ºC; the optimum temperature range is 45-55ºC.
Preserve: Avoid direct sunlight, high temperature and humidity during transportation. Storage place must be clean, dry, cool, preferably with air conditioning
Expiry: 12 months if stored at 0 – 10oC in a tightly closed container and protected from sunlight. Prolonged storage and/or adverse conditions such as higher temperatures may result in increased dosage.
