HT-80 is an end-amylase that can quickly reduce the viscosity of starch gelatinization products. This enzyme is widely used in the sugar industry, especially in the production of malt sugar.

Benefits when using HT-80:

HT-80 has high stability at low pH

HT-80 helps reduce starch viscosity quickly

Helps reduce the formation of unwanted product colorants

Reduces the formation of non-fermentable sugars

HT-80 liquefaction is highly effective for various raw materials, for example

such as cassava, corn, wheat, rice,...

When using HT-80, it can also help eliminate the need for calcium ion supplementation during the process

Liquefaction production process.

Usage content: From 0.1 - 0.35kg/ton of dry starch. However, the exact dosage of HT-80 depends on the actual situation such as: starch substrate, liquefaction equipment, processing conditions, etc. To optimize the dosage, it is necessary to conduct some liquefaction tests to find the optimal dosage suitable for each production plant.

Impact of Ph on HT-80:

HT-80 operates with a pH range of 5.0 ~ 7.0, depending on different applications.

The optimal pH of HT-80 is 5.4 ~ 6.0.

Accurate pH optimization depends on actual production conditions, including temperature, substrate concentration, and time.

Effect of temperature on HT-80: The optimal temperature of HT-80 is above 90°C. Starch liquefies quickly at 95-97°C and maintains high activity at 100°C. For sequential liquefaction, HT-80 exhibits exceptional thermal stability over the temperature range of 105 -110°C within 5 to 7 minutes

Calcium concentration: The presence of calcium helps increase the thermal stability of HT-80. This enzyme requires a low calcium concentration of about 20-50ppm to ensure enzyme stability.

Inhibitors: Copper, titanium, and cobalt ions are moderate inhibitors of HT-80. Aluminum, lead, and zinc ions will inhibit HT-80 more strongly

Pack: 25kg, 30kg plastic barrel or 1125kg IBC barrel.

Expiry date: Normal shelf life is 6 months if stored at temperatures below 25°C in a sealed, unopened container, away from direct sunlight. Shelf life will be 18 months provided this product is stored properly at 0∼10°C. Prolonged storage and/or unfavorable conditions such as higher temperatures may result in higher dosage requirements and therefore require attention.

HT-80 is derived from the Bacillus licheniformis strain used for fermentation and purification techniques.
